What is a WISH BRIGADE?
a group of people dedicated to a common cause to achieve the seemingly impossible.
wish/verb: feel or express a strong desire or hope for something that is not easily attainable; want something that cannot or probably will not happen.
bri·gadebriˈgād/noun: brigade; plural noun: brigades: A group of persons organized for a specific purpose
Inspiring our youth to get involved and make a difference in their community, we have approximately 10 teens involved in our Teen Wishbrigade! They plan family oriented events throughout the year as well as help with the major CFC events! (pictured above on bottom left... and our future Teen Wishbrigade, bottom center)
Testimonials from our WishBrigade:
"I found out about Charity for Charity from a girlfriend and her enthusiasm and love for the cause spurred my curiousity. When I took a look at Charity for Charity and the difference they were making in people’s lives I wanted to be a part of it. Not only do we make dreams come true for others with chronic illness or traumatic injury, but the amazing people that we meet, become friends with, and work alongside of are priceless. It’s not just a charity, it is a network of amazing women (and men) (people) who believe in the power of possible and use it to create real change. If you want to be a part of something that transforms lives, then get involved. You will laugh, cry, celebrate and create memories that you will cherish for a lifetime. I love my Charity for Charity family!” -Ruth Moyte
"I never knew when I began volunteering for this organization what a rewarding experience it would be. I just knew that ...I adored Charity and her vision and heart for helping others. I have been humbled and filled to overflowing knowing what we do makes a difference for others who are suffering." -Lori Delisle
"When my husband and I moved to Temecula in 2006 I was able to leave the Corporate World behind so of course I now could begin to fulfill my dream of so many years, to be able to volunteer. Now the question was where? I had made several calls to different organizations and began to volunteer. I enjoyed but just had not felt that connection yet until one day I happened upon Charity for Charity. I started out helping a little, then a little more and now I feel so fortunate to be part of the #Wish Brigade and helping to fulfill wishes for the chosen beneficiaries. Just to see the joy it brings to recipients and their family speaks volumes and affirms to me that I chose the right organization to donate my time to. Of course volunteering has always been near and dear to my heart, by being able to help others to make a difference and give back to the community is such an incredibly rewarding experience. Thanks Charity for allowing me the privilege of being part of your #Wish Brigade." - Terry Lindsley
