ROMELLO
Mello has a TBI and he, his mom Nyree and family are in need of constant prayer as they work tirelessly day after day to rehab him back to his original state. He IS making great progress, but as you can imagine, it's a slow process.

THE PEUKER FAMILY
Raelynn can use prayers for a legal matter that is very stressful and unsettling for her whole family.
She also needs prayers because she's in the hospital with medical concerns that are causing her much pain and discomfort. They have been unable to diagnose or resolve so this is worrying her mamma.
6/10/25 UPDATE Stem cell trip was a success! Rae did fantastic! We made the trip to CA, met with the doctor and we were in and out of the office within an hour. She didn't cry, she was a champ! We told her that she would have superpowers now. The first thing she did when she woke up this morning was flex her arm muscle, showing us how strong she is now. She didn't have any problems or bad reactions through the night. So now we wait! We can see minor differences in a few weeks. Bigger differences in 3-6 months. We are hopeful and we thank you for your continued love and support!
5/19/25 - UPDATE - After 2 weeks of tests, 4 IV lines, 1 midline, 2 CT scans, an NG tube, a colon cleanse and 100s of doctors coming into the room trying to find answers, we finally get to go home for 2 weeks. Although our journey is far from over, we get to spend some much needed time together as a family. She is finally stable enough to continue her antibiotics at home and be monitored closely in her own bedroom. We have plans to follow up with GI and make a plan to return to the hospital in 2 weeks. At that time, they will readmit her, repeat the scan and then talk about the procedure that needs to be done at that time. Thank you everyone for continuing to support and reach out. The medical costs still continue as we will now be traveling back and forth to CA to make sure she gets the care that is needed.
5/7/25 - Raelynn came in on Sunday for extreme dehydration. She wasn't eating or drinking anything a week prior. With her vessels and history of stroke, it is imperative that she keeps hydrated.
The doctors ran a lot of tests, and here's what we know so far:
She has right renal artery stenosis - her right kidney is the size of a 1 year old. However, the output of both kidneys is normal and still doing their job.
She has a major GI issue- the doctors haven't officially diagnosed her with chrones disease, but they are very much leaning to that. Especially since there is a family history of it. Although Chrones disease is treatable, a lot of the treatments and procedures involved pose a risk and contradict all the work we have done for her to not have a stroke. Some meds would need to be stopped to do the procedures, and those are keeping her a live in another way. If she does not receive these new meds and do these procedures, she won't make it for long under these conditions.
She has an abscess in her bowel that also needs to be treated.
The docs also found numerous tiny cysts in the lungs.
This girl has never had anything short of a complex medical history, however, we are looking at multiple organ issues. All treatable if she was dealing with just one alone, however thats not the case. We hurt knowing that we are up against so many odds. We need miracle after miracle. We have a long road ahead and honestly, I am not sure how much her body can take. When you have multiple systems failing, it's only a matter of time until it gives out.
We have made the decision to do whatever makes her the most comfortable and try the least invasive options as possible. Thank you for continuing to pray for her and our family. Our immediate family has stepped up to watch our other children. We miss seeing them and having to be in 2 different spots breaks my heart.

LANDIS
Landis has a TBI from an accident that involved her brother and her brothers girlfriend. Sadly, Gia perished as a result of the accident. Brother Gavin has several lingering issues and Landis struggles to get her life back.

5/7/25 - Yes as always we pray daily for Landis to get her voice back!!! Her smile, we miss her smile so very much, laughter, we want to know she has Joy.
Specific stuff could always be for discernment, what’s next for Landis we are looking at High Hopes in Tustin, neurolab360 in Encinitas, VIP rehab in Mira Mesa, and a feldenkrais option , TMS as well .. all of these are far from home so how God do we make it all Happen without completely exhausting ourselves! Or is it right to go everyday somewhere or not, when she is pushed Landis does amazing but we don’t want to push too much we shut her down either.
We NEED more Landis Helpers to come onboard to help us as others fade out.
So if anyone has any experience or is up for the challenge (take physical stamina, the excitement to learn and want to teach Landis as well…) ages preferred are 20 something to relate to Landis but also have some commitment to the job.

CAMERON
5/19/25 - UPDATE:
Cameron has been off and on in behaviors. He is complaining about intermittent neck pain, sayin it hurts to sit in the car or in wheelchair and I’ve chalked it up to post op pain. He is asking for meds once or twice a day to manage a semi comfortable position Well last night find him laying on the couch lethargic and just emotionless. During last cath of night I notice significant swelling and pooled up fluid.
Could mean tear in dura and CSF leak, could mean shunt needs to be adjusted again.
Best case scenario it’ll dissipate on own without intervention. They’ll likely request mri either way. Worst case scenario they’d need to go in and sew a tear. From others in SB community other interventions were shunt adjustments and need to drain fluid with local anesthesia.

We would love prayers for continued healing and recovery to baseline for Cameron, prayers to keep Matt healthy and home safely from deployment, and prayers for the medical teams responsible for Cameron’s care/treatment. insurance to approve all the new equipment Cameron needs and quick access to the items needed. And Prayers for the govt and state to continue to fund the programs that are allowing me to stay home with and provide Cams care. The first six years were rough on a single income and once he was approved for the state programs things got easier. Several legislative bills are up for debate and voting and there is possible potential for a drastic reduction in the hours awarded to assist in his care/possibility of programs being cut entirely. So we are on edge awaiting to see what will happen. Also, prayers needed for Cameron's dads deployment.

KIMBERLY
UPDATE: PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED! Kimberly is in remission from Stage 4 lung cancer!!!

DYLAN
Dylan is a cancer survivor who has had a bone marrow transplant. Although the transplant seems to have kept his cancer at bay, he's had many side effects and issues that he continues to deal with on a daily basis. His mom is a single mom with 2 other children at home and the travel to the hospital regularly has put a strain on the entire family.

5/7/25 - Specific prayers for a successful surgery for the placement of his G-tube on May 19th. And prayers for his knee to continue healing to avoid surgery. Us as a family to continue to get by through this journey

JANA
Jana deals with several medical issues on a daily basis that started with tumors on her ovaries while pregnant with her second daughter. she's had an emergency hysterectomy, life threatening pancreatitis, gastroparesis and immunodeficiency. She's had infections, G tubes and PICC lines to assist with her nutrition intake. After 3 years of dealing with all of this, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her treatment is still ongoing. She takes hormone blockers which cause a whole host of other issues that are severely impacting her everyday life. She gets infusions every 6 months in order to strengthen her already weakening bones, but seeing her, you would never know anything was wrong with her. She always has a smile on her face and faces each day with strength and perseverance! She's a fighter, but could definitely use prayer daily as she suffers and navigates through all of these medical challenges.

CAMERON
Cameron is struggling with his new normal. Prayers are needed for strength to heal from his accident.
